God is good and his mercy endures forever! Now, those of you who know me must know this word of encouragement comes straight from the father, because I am so not the sports enthusiast! Have you ever been in a "Sweet Spot" in your life where no matter what adversity comes, you are shielded from impact?
Well, you need to know, I am loving me some Jesus right about now! It's like the NBA player who finds a Sweet Spot on the court. No matter what's going on around him, if he can just get to that sweet spot...it's nothing but net! Hallelujah, that's living a blessed life! But, it's not without effort. That NBA athlete has to practice or exercise his ability constantly from that sweet spot, so that he can become one with the court in that one particular place. At any given time in our lives we find ourselves in "particular places" of adversity where we need to practice the presence of God or exercise our faith to become one with the father right from that place of hurt, disappointment, loss or lack. We often see this as a negative, but really it's a position of offense...meaning you've got the ball. Where an athlete depends on his physical training and ability, All we have to do is find that place in him, stand still, lift up that adversity and let go...Nothing but net! Have you lost your sweet spot? Spend time with the father and get back into the game!
2 Corinthians 2:14 - Now Thanks be to God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
